Haverhill Research Park is one of the latest ventures of Carisbrooke Investments, a privately owned, London based, property management, investment and development company established in 1998 by Nic Rumsey and Neil Young.
 

Since inception, Carisbrooke has successfully executed circa £2 Billion of UK transactions. These transactions have included the purchase of over 10 million square feet of investment properties, primarily in the retail, office and industrial sectors.

Carisbrooke has particular expertise with brown field regeneration and strategic green field sustainable urban extensions. To date, circa 500 acres have been transformed into fully defined serviced development projects, resulting in 2 million sq ft of mixed use accommodation, with capacity for a further 3 million sq ft within the existing land bank.

The Carisbrooke management team have a vast amount of varied property/finance/development expertise and with the support of market leading industry advisers/professionals are well placed to tackle even the most complex property transactions and developments.

Past and Present Developments

Carisbrooke have consistently delivered successful development solutions through out the UK, and in particular the eastern region, in a wide variety of development types and scales. Past and present developments, to name just a few, which demonstrate the ability of Carisbrooke to deliver successful schemes include:
Cambridge Research Park: 83,000 ft² of offices built for ntl and Diomed from a former quarry and council refuge site. (

A 55 acre mixed use business park scheme with outline planning permission obtained for up to one million square feet of B1, B2 and B8 development with a hotel, petrol filling station and roadside restaurants.
Buckingway Business Park: a speculative development of a 12.25 acre site in Swavesey into 80,000 ft² of offices.
Knowledge Gateway, Colchester: a joint venture between Carisbrooke Alliance and the University of Essex to develop a 40 acre site adjacent to the main university campus as a Research Park to include an amenity block, hotel, retail and A3 units, a health and leisure facility and a 30,000 sq ft office village.
