Masterplan
Carisbrooke’s masterplan proposals for a prestigious Research and Business Park alongside residential , a hotel, family pub and crèche were adopted by St Edmundsbury Borough Council in April 2011. This provided the basis for several planning applications that have now been approved.
Planning ApplicationsFour planning applications were submitted to the Council in September 2011, as follows: SE/11/1061 – Full planning application for ground remodelling, provision of services, infrastructure and new access roads, together with structural landscaping in connection with proposed development of site for employment and residential purposes; SE/11/1062 – Outline planning application for the erection of a Research/Business Park (Class B1) development; SE/11/1063 - Outline planning application for the erection of hotel, public house/restaurant, and crèche; SE/11/1064 – Outline planning application for residential development (up to 150 dwellings).  All four planning applications were approved by the Council’s Development Control Committee on 24th November 2011, subject to a legal agreement, which was subsequently signed on 18th January 2012. |
